tips on long term storage...
just pulled my S4 out of 6-week storage, here's what I found:
1) spraying a small amount of WD-40 directly on the rotors prevented rust entirely
2) placing the V1 in the glove box preserved the suction cups (as opposed to leaving it on the windshield)
3) an open cup of baking soda absorbed all moisture and odors and left only a fresh smell of leather
4) the $25 car cover from PartsAmerica prevented dust accumulation but did nothing to prevent water-spots from an old leaking garage roof. Mental note: get Stratmosphere cover
5) Battery was fully charged even though the factory alarm and a remote starter were armed the whole time.
6) tire pressure at 45 psi prevented flat-spots and ended up being "confidence-inspiring" on the highway when playing with a black S4 on 93N near Andover Mass. and later with a silver UrS6 in New Hampshire.
7) having limited my visible mods to Euro lights and an RS4 grill, nobody expects the royal ***-whooping. Thank you Mr. Lim!
