Default TipTronic tranny chip Q: Anyone w/ a 2001 Tip use the GIAC "Race" chip?
We have all heard of the great results of the GIAC "race" chip on many 2000 model S4's. However, I have heard rumors of people using the "race" program on 2001 Tip cars and seeing no difference.

What is the consensus? Does it still work as well? If I'm gonna spend $300, the **** better work.

Default There is now only one tip chip from Garrett
The former "race chip" is the standard tiptronic mod from GIAC.

And it's worth the money.
