Man, the car is super fast. It pulls down low, almost as fast as a chipped S4, but up top, holy ****.Handling is similar to the S4, in terms of total grip, but the S4 is better, overall.
Thing is, it has a mediocre trans that IMO, is inferior to the Audi Tip. Also, the interior is somewhat cramped, and over all, the exterior is better suited for a female, (if you know what I mean). It's not at all aggressive looking, and it has this chrome trim that looks like ***. It kind of looks like a 92 vintage Buick Skylark.
If only it came with a six speed, I might overlook the feminine look it has, but it doesn't, and that makes it totally undesirable to me.
So after driving *many* cars, much more expensive than a S4, I have come to the conclusion that there is no equal to the S4, even for 30,000 more. And yes, that includes the new M3.
The only other car I might consider, is the 3000GT VR4, but I really don't know enough about the reliablity and such.Anybody know the low down on it?

I owned a 3000GT VR4 and would tell you that if you're considering a car like that...
to look into the Supra TT instead. Though the VR4 holds in advantage with AWD, the long-term reliability as well as cost of parts and mods are significantly more than the Supra. You'll clearly appreciate toyota's reliability when you come to own a car like that...for example, a timing belt alone for the VR4 costs approx. $160!!!
One last note, I personally think the interior and cockpit of the Supra is better suited toward the driver than the VR4 in terms of visibility, gauges, and overall comfort.
Hope my 2 cents helps...

I am with you on the Supra. If I were looking for an ultra fast Japanese car the only real choice, at least in the states, is the Supra TT. From what I have read, and also heard from friends that own these cars, modifying these cars to 400-500hp is a piece of cake. Supposedly the engines are extremely well built and easily handle the extra hp. Other than a used Supra, the only other cars I would consider instead of the S4 would be a new M5, 993 tt, or 996 tt.The S4 kind of spoils you.
