Default Toyo Proxes 4 @ $ 132 vs Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S at $142

I KNOW everyone shuns the whole all-season $h*t but for the dc area I think it makes sense especially when I can't afford another set or rims atm anyways. I would ask this one the wheels and tires section but I didn't want to :P.

Default Goodyears all the way. I just took a set of Toyo all seasons off of the minivan with

90% tread left and sold them for $50.00 because they sucked so bad. Unreal how loud they were.

Goodyears on the other hand, have always done good by me.

Personally, I always run snows in winter and summer tires the other three seasons. Consider if your situation can somehow make that happen. All season tires have a lot of compromises - especially on a sports car.

Default I've now put 2k miles on my new set of GY F1 A/S - absolutely great tires -

best A/S tires I've ever used and very little compromise vs summer tires (imo) and if you will only have one set (espec in DC), these are the ones to get. BTW, GY may still be offering a $50 rebate on a set of 4 of these (ck Tirerack site), so price would be slightly less than Toyo's (then it's really a no-brainer). But again, jmho.

Default I would go the F1 route.

Friend of mine had them on his E36 M3 and ran them year round as well as 1 or 2 track days. Got good mileage and he loved them in the wet.

I personally had Proxy 4's and would not buy them again. I thought they had too much road noise, wasn't impressed with their handling, and had one tire delaminate on the inner edge of the PS front tire.
