Default Transmisison problems

I searched the archives and found 6 instances (including myself) of people having problems shifting which eventually lead to difficult or no gear selection with the end result being replacement of the transmission.

If you are having shifting problems and/or are unable to get the car into gear please post the mileage of your car and what the dealer has done to correct the problem.

Audizone

Default 4000 miles, some trouble shifting

Occassionally when I go from 2-3, it grinds slightly into 3rd. And even less frequently, I have resistance getting it into second. Since reading your posts, I'm going to have the dealer look at it this week. Like you, I thought it was something I was doing and tried moving the seat forward, etc.... Now I'm worried!

Default Now that you mention it...

BigDaddyDon,
I have 3800 miles on my (almost) 1 month S4... and I have noticed a more difficult time shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear every now and then... over those 3800 miles, I have misshifted only ONCE going from 1st to 2nd... I will keep an eye on it...
Good Luck Brother,
RocketJohn
