I am just about frustrated enough to take the car to the dealer, but I want to try a few more easy things first. I did order a VAG cable and will be checking that as soon as I can.

Right now the car feels like it is relieving boost pressure at far too low a value. The CEL is on, giving me misfire codes, don't know which cyls yet. And it does it making an audible clicking or rattling sound that you can hear while attempting to boost in the lower gears with the windows down. The turbos spool and the car idles smoothly, but right when you are used to the boost coming on, it feels like I am lifting off the throttle! Very frustrating. Like the BPV's are actuating when they are not supposed to. That is what made me think that the N75 might be messed up. Too much coincidence with me tinkering though I think...

Things I have done recently that may be the culprit:
- spark plugs (car ran great for 10 days after the install)
- EFK - have pulled the bumper 3 times now to get it right though, so I may have unhooked something and not seen what it is

Any ideas? I will log and report back when I have the stuff to do it. TIA sirs
