Default Granted, wasn't trying to defend the S4 turbo installation, it is indeed sub par.

Only saying that when you're buying any turbo car with 60k+ unknown miles on it, you take a risk.

Default I would like to see some numbers on S4 turbo failures vs. A4 turbo failures.

Even though I know they don't exist...

keep in mind we have 2 X the possibility of failure with the 2 turbos.

Many Supras and 3000 GT's can be found with over 100k miles on the original turbos...

Default Not by much though. I knew plenty of Supra, GT, Stealth R/T, and RX7 owners

that had problems *right* around 100k, if not soon afterward. Hell, used to have an RX7 myself and the turbos gave out at 115k (and it was relatively stock - reliability mods only!)

Default My "OTHER" car is a Porsche 951 - Chipped (running 10 psi via Greddy Profec B) - 125k mi...Turbo is

rock solid. I will take it out and give it a "refresh" when I have the valve guides and head gasket replaced. Saves on "labor" when u do it that way.
