Turbo Question? Since I have a spare S4, I am going to turn it into a track car,
I am going to slowly added stuff to it as I go, but when WMS does the motor swap from my old S4 to my new S4 I was trying to figure out which Turbos to put into stock engine that is going into the track car. It has brand new K03 (about 1,300 miles) on the stock motor so I want to find out peoples opinion on if I should go K04's, K03 housing with K16/24 internals, or something else. I am trying to keep it fairly low budget, this track car is just sort a fun little extra. I am also looking for a front bumper, both drivers side doors, and rear passenger door to replace the damaged ones, so if you have some email me. Thanks in advance

I think my K03/04/16 hybrids would be your best choice ;-) (Advertised in AW classifieds)
Benefit is that they are newly rebuilt by Buehn, cheaper than K04's, and you don't need the expensive RS4 inlet pipes. I think hybrids in general are a good choice for a track car.

Stick with K04s, you don't need huge HP to be competitive on the track
and if you want them to last long on the track make sure you ditch the stock oil cooler! Get the AMS, or make your own(Rs4 oil cooler is $1,000 now and unless you need OEM is a total waste of money IMO, you can build one that works just as good, or buy the AMS for half the money. Now you can put the extra dough into the suspension/chassis, get some H&R cup coilovers if you want to cut costs, and run the H-sport swaybars, then spend the rest on a good set of tires, hoosiers, Kuhmos or Advans.
