Default Turn signal on mirror opinion....

Hey guys, (STFA)... i've seen these on Tahoes & they always draw my attention

Kinda like the idea of them - seem safe

Thoughts/opinions/experiences???

I realize this is an ultra-cheap ebay link, just for reference though

thanks for any input.<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&amp;rd=1&amp;item=795446861 3&amp;category=33713">ebay</a></li></ul>

Default Personally, I would pass. Too much going on at eye-level with that going off every time...

Plus, I assume that you would have to splice or mess with wiring harness to get it to work. Too much trouble, IMO. Not to mention that you will likely need more blinker fluid if you go this route :0P

Default VW, Mercedes and others now integrate European required side markers ("repeaters") in the mirrors ..

They replace traditional quarter-panel mounted side markers and, for those designs like Mercedes which wrap around, are visible even from beind the vehicle. I like them; much cleaner design (no fender clutter) and better visibility from all angles.

These are different from the LED models, like that in the ebay link or those used by Ford on Expeditions and Excursions, which seemed more of a novelty and were definitely due to vehicle size (as you said).

I like the wrap-around version instead of imbedded mirror type. Gotta love German engineering!

Default Yeah ... I edited my post

Forgot to add that those (MB, VAG, etc) are different from the LED mirrors, which seem to be more of a novelty than anything.
