Valets trashed my car...

It looks to me like your headlights were busted
I think you should send me the 'busted' units and get brand new ones from the valet service. Heck, I'd even throw in a couple hundred bux to cover the cost of shipping.
E-mail me if you're interested. ;-)

I only valet my car when it has to be done.
Certain places only have valet in SF, but when they got in to back mine up I watched to be sure they didn't scrape the rims. I even went out and looked at them.
And I gave them the cheap valet key, so they couldn't steal the code to the flip one. I think them seeing me watching them and going out to be sure my car was okay, mad them be a little more careful with my car.
I used to valet, it's great money and can be fun when you get to park really nice cars. I never took one out for a joyride though, I didn't want to risk it, respected the cars too much.

Check with your insurance company before going there.....
It is generally better to deal with your company to get your car fixed instead of theirs. Your company has a vested interest in fixing your car right and making you happy, their's doesn't. Your insurer will then go after theirs for reimbursement.
This has been the way I've handled two accidents that we've had and both times I came away happy. The car was fixed right and my insurer handled all of the dirty work with theirs.
my $.02

This wasn't the outdoor lot on the corner?
I used to work right across the street, and when someone would drop their car off, the guy would drive it like he stole it. Sometimes we wondered how the car fit through the narrow space in the lot.
I guess he has to hurry when its real busy, but almost every car in the lot was expensive...
Anyway, that sucks about your car. Try parking at Cobo (either roof or underground). Its not valet, but at least its less chance of getting your car hit.

Damn that sucks!I would have gone crazy on the guy who did that to my car. You should be able to get good compensation and also a rental car!
Email me for info on the RS4 bumper setup. I'll be glad to help you get everything you need. You NEED to take it to the dealership and have it checked for engine damage and possible error codes!
