Agreed. Been on TDIs for a while now... just starting to come over to gasoline engines (Porsche).

Default wonderful thing, many diesels have them. not widely used on gas engines though

and really no aftermarket offerings for gas applications either.

IIRC there were a few gas turbo cars in the 80s that used them with limited success.

I believe the 997 turbo uses VNT turbos as well

Default Previously to costly to develop for gas. 997 has a big head start. More...

Bah, Chrysler ran them in the '80/90s on the 2.2l gas engines.
