Default Very simple tip for larger rear brakes

The S4 uses a 10" rear rotor. The S8 rear rotor is about 10 3/4" and will fit exactly onto the rear of the S4. You can use your stock S4 caliper. You will need the S8 rear caliper adapter bracket for the left and the right side. One side will slightly touch the rotor on the inside but you can easily grind that small area away without any problem......Voila!!...this puts the pad further out on the outside surface area of the larger rotor giving you better clamping...since you have the same piston size, the master functions perfectly....all the braking that you need for the rear.

Default I run a slight adaptation of that suggestion...

The soon to be released Stasis Brake kit uses the S8 carriege assembly with the stock caliper, and utlizes a Stasis machined hat with rotor (2 piece system) over the single piece S8 rear rotor.

Lighter, and better in that the two piece system (with massive vented hat) help to avoid the transfer of heat to the bearings.

looks something like this:

Default Front and Rear or the Rear kit only?

I know that Stasis plans to sell them together, or seperate.

I also know they spent a lot of time on the hat design (these are INSANE hats).

Lastly, I know that Stasis is working on the final stages of testing the kit before "releasing" it.

Not sure on pricing, but it should be VERY competitive with the current Stoptech/APR kits given that their kit is both a Front and Rear upgrade.

Stay tuned for pricing, Stasis should be coming out with the details of the kit in the near future.

soon is the last I heard. Stasis wants to finish their testing first (that's a good thing)
