the lifeless, lined and missing display was getting on my nearves.....

At around $900 for the replacement you would think they were made of gold.

Default $900? IIRC, dealer charged around $550 + labor

The bad news is, the second cluster is going bad just like the first one. Fading digits when warm (80deg outside)

Default cluster $764.07 + $127.50 labor + $53 tax

I know it hurt :-(

But it's been going out for sometime and it just bugged me.
