Default Went to do my 20K mi. servece and....

it's the best thing I've done for the car. I just bought my S4 two months ago. Since then I've installed a Evo intake, Miltek duals, AWE DTS, and it came with a X-chip. Ever since I've had the car I've found boost leaks everywhere. A few days ago my check light went off so I decided to buy a ross-tech. I found out that I have several errors. One of them being a bad egt sensor and misfiring in the 4,5, and 6 cylinders. This morning I took the car in for servicing. Wow what a difference a few hours make. The misfiring is gone and now my acceleration is smooth as silk. I always thought the misfiring was the X-chip messing with the timing since I thought the car was plenty fast. Now it's on a whole new level. I finally see a good 1.4-1.5 bar on heavy loading. The car's rpm's just ramp up without a hiccup and really pulls with true authority. I'm not sure what they did, the good EGT sensor is coming in on Wednesday, but it really made a difference. Thanks to the guys at Metro Audi.

Default Hehe, I had my 20k today and this happened:

- They put in non-synthetic oil
- They left a big a$$ screw-driver under the hood (sitting on my headlight, just WAITING to fall into my timing belt)
- Loosened one of the fan covers so that the blades hit it.

Not to mention another non-20k service issue that I have with them.

My dealership is staffed by nice people, but they must be morons when it comes to technical skills

What's the temp where you are...1.5 bar is pretty high on the x-chip.

Default Haven't used the ross-tech on that and......

my EGT sensor went bad, so I have no idea. It hits the high boost for only a second or so, then levels off to about 1 bar or so.

I meant the outside temp....unless it was 90 degrees out, I don't think it should spike to 1.5
