went to the drag strip last night, it was dumb..........
it was sooo packed i got one run in, i ran at like 30 psi of boost with good timing. i aired down to 15 lbs and the ground was cold and my tires were cold so I smoked them off through the water and all the way across the line. then launched like poop because i was deep staged and not expecting the red light. saw it, threw me off lifted a bit and boged. then got back on it hard, spun them off, again through 2nd, then half of third and then in 4th the clutch slipped for the first time. i usually have a bad first run of the day but that was a new record for things to go wrong.... worst 25 bucks i have ever spent.
ran a damn 12.2
i guess i found the limit of the CM stage 4, i was on VP raceing streetblaze 103 octane and like i said about a 31-32 psi spike tapering to 29-30. first time with full race gas on this setup. it was nuts on the freeway on the way home. going out on friday again, will try to get some fats times between then and now at like 27-28 psi

Using the bleach pit with treaded tires is bad. Here's why....
As you roll thru the fluid (water, bleach, whatever), the fluid covers the tires and fills the threads. When you burn out, you get all the liquid off the surface, but some can still be in the treads. As yo stage on the line, the fluid can run out of the tread on the the ground or over the contact surface. You hit the gas and spin. If you must, smoke the tires without the using the bleach pit.

any liquid that lives on my tires through one of my burnouts is a really hardcore liquid
and is welcome to hang out for a while....
i light up all 4, bouncing of the rev limiter from the dig pit all the way across the line, lots of heat and centrifical force.
people never expect the 4 wheel burnout, i have actually never seen anyone else do it there, but it works
