Default No, its pretty much luck of the draw...
Some WILL fail regardless of how they are taken care of, others will not.

I know of an S4 where the driver does full boost when its cold and never cools it down and the turbos have been fine for probably 80k miles. I also know of several S4s that were well cared for and had turbos blow.

Default it's crazy if you think about doing it ... but i mentioned "induktion lines for the ko4's .."
that eventually go in..

Buy an E46 M3 and then you can blow the motor instead. ;-P
