Default What So Cal shops are capable of doing an engine swap?

So, after ~110k of relatively decent maintenance luck (for a 2.7T anyway), my engine let go last month. It had an oil consumption issue recently that my mechanic may have tracked down to a leaky head gasket, but we were waiting for other parts before doing that work. I was just cruising on the highway, no big bangs, puffs of smoke, or anything remotely satisfying for the amount of damage done. At least one of the pistons is frozen and there's loose metal in the cylinders, so it's probably a safe assumption that the motor and turbos are both history, right?

That said, I'm going through a fix vs. sell decision process now. If I decide to fix it, I need to find a shop that I can trust, so I'm looking for anyone's experiences with SoCal shops that would be capable of doing an engine swap. I'd probably do some mild upgrades, but since it's been a few years since I've had time for the track, I'd be favoring driveability over absolute performance (and cost).

I've seen Wicked Motorsports mentioned in a number of threads. They're on the other side of LA from me, but for a job this size I'd consider them and will probably call tomorrow. Who else is out there in SoCal that I should consider?

Thanks.

Default 2nd. If you're lucky enough to be fairly close to one of the top shops in the country, just use

them.
