and i see this red trans am w/ his T-Tops off. Remember this is ND, and we just got 6 inches of snow on Saturday, but it is 55 degrees out.
Anyways, I pull up next to this guy, sunglasses on, t-shirt, vanity plates (nvmyTA) the whole getup. I roll down my window and start a nice conversation:
me "wow, nice car"
him "thanks" (head nod)
me "that must have a big engine, like a V8 or something?"
him "yeah, its a V8"
me "wow, must be a fun car, pretty quick too I guess"
him "yeah, it'll go" "you like your car"
me "yeah, its ok, not fast like yours but its ok"
Because its been so warm, all the snow from the weekend has been melting, plus all the sand on the road I figured it was time to have some fun.
We're both pulling up to a light, first set of cars side by side, long stretch of road ahead, nobody around. He's revving his engine, so I do the same. He kinda looks over and hears the turbo's spooling (no pre-cats) and seems to be a bit confused.
Light turns green, I do a fairly easy launch from 3500 and get out of the hole smooth. He spins, lets off the gas, more gas, more spin - he's waaaaay behind.
What a life, I love screwing with the V8 clowns

Hmmm......funny Uncle Ben encounter today at lunch....
I'm driving back from lunch, making a left hand turn on Bowers (for you NorCal folks). An Integra (lowered, stock rims, HUGE pipe) is making a right turn from the opposite corner. He makes sure to gun his car and get next tome before we hit the next light. At the light, I take off slow, knowing I have to make a right turn about 1/8 mile ahead. As I'm making my right hand turn, this guy slows down, pushes in his clutch and presses the g0-pedal a good 3-4 times. I guess he was just letting me know he has a custom 8" exhaust on his 150 HP sled....
