What's the deal on that "AP Racing Fluid" that AWE" sells on their site?

Dry boiling point of 527f / wet boiling point of 302f - Pentosin is lower (although I don't know its
ratings). If you want the best - buy castrol srf. If you want the best value - buy motul 600rbf - that is what I use

It's not DOT 5, but ...
it may be either AP600 or AP's new DOT 5.1 fluid.
AP600 is intended for racing only and does not meet DOT specs for brake fluids, primarily because it's not compatible with DOT brake fluids.
DOT 5 brake fluid is silicone based, is not compatible with ABS pumps, is more compressible than the other glycol based DOT brake fluids, is not used in racing, and is not recommended for Audi's.
DOT 5.1 brake fluid is not silicone based, is compatible with DOT4, and can be used in Audi's. Compared to Other Brake Fluids, the DOT 5.1 specs are:
518 oF minimum dry boiling point
375 oF minimum wet boiling point
I use Castrol SRF, but Motul 600 is almost as good and a lot cheaper.

AP brake fluids
