I am pretty sure you do with APR but what about ASP, dahlback?

I am trying to save money on fueling by piecing everything myself. I just don't see paying $5000.00 for an APR fueling kit when I can piece it together myself for half that.

Default Software is tuned for specific hardware. Not all tuners use the same hardware.

I don't think it would make sense to get software that didn't match the hardware unless you have them do a custom tune for your specific hardware.

Default HB (GIAC works best) or custom tune, if using HB parts.....

Planning on something of that sort for my A6 as well.

But keep in mind our fueling kit is on holiday special right now for $1750 and would def recomend it over piecing something together.

Default While you can certainly get a fuelling kit less than APR's

It'd be hard to duplicate all the parts in the APR kit for the price. They include a ton of stuff that most other fuelling kits don't, like the RS4 y-pipe, RS4 fuel pump, RS4 MAF and airbox, etc, etc. OEM stuff costs big $$$.
