You get $1k off on your next Audi. Another dumb piece of marketing from Len Hunt's crew.

Default Actually, I think it's a good idea, in stark contrast to attempting to make VW a Mercedes competitor

Plus, nothing wrong with saving an extra grand...

Default I guess I was taken aback by...

... the fact that the letter didn't begin, "Thank you so much for your dedication to the Audi brand! We see that you have owned x Audis in y years and that the majority of these cars were leased/purchased. Given your loyalty to the brand and your past behavior, we plan to offer you a significant discount on your next lease/purchase..."

Had I written the letter, I would have hired someone to dig up this information and used this opportunity to encourage people with experience with the Audi Advantage warranty, etc. to buy as opposed to leasing if they'd leased in the past, to buy a Quattro car if they'd bought a FrontTrack car in the past, to buy an S car if they'd owned a more expensive A car in the past...

That would be marketing. This is junk mail.

Oh. Well, I haven't seen this letter; was it some big mailing campaign or something?

Yeah, I think most people here received one. Steve might still have a copy of it.

Default It's supposed to get people to buy the remaining 01's so they can release the 02's sitting in port!

You'll do some of our suffering friends a favor if you buy an 01. ;-)

I have an old Audi 4000, that I will drive occationally, and I've recently heard of a $1000 incentive program? Are there restrictions?
