Default Why is my gas tank gurgling with the vehicle off?.......
for some reason my gas tanks sounds as if its sloshing fuel around and i smell fuel. I just filled up this morning but i have never heard that sloshing sound in almost 7 years of having the car. Any ideas? I checked gas cap its tight. looked under car doesnt seem to be leaking.

Default Bad Gas Cap Maybe?
Have the cap pressure tested...

Default sound is gone now i will pay attention to it further. wouldnt suprise me if the gas cap seal was...
erroded.

My wife's Jeep's cap corroded last summer too...
