Wierd Clutch behavior, normal or somethings going to blow??
Last night I street raced a few cars... both civics 
As I rolled to the group, I was in first gear slowly picking up speed. Then I decided to floor it and the clutch wouldnt grip for ****! It slipped all throughout first gear, then 2nd gear wouldnt go in, so it grinded
First race was against a civic. I launched like a rocket doing a 5500k dump. As I saw that he wasnt moving, I let off the gas and the clutch and I smelled my clutch So I put my car in reverse and came back to the starting line. 2nd time around we both launched, My first gear redline came out very fast, once I hit 2nd gear, it felt like the car just bogged out. The clutch wasnt slipping this time, it just felt like tremendous turbo lag. The car eventually picked up speed. I have suspected my bypass valves for a while now. Is it normal for the bypass valves to take a **** after 1300 mile of hard driving? I have about 1700 miles on my car now.
Heres the kicker. On my way home, I came up on this intersection... looked both waits and reved my car to 6k. Once the light turned green, I dumped it! Damn, the car felt alive! slammed 2nd gear and it pulled like a bat out of hell. Hit 3rd and redlined that sum bitch, I let off at around 95mph! Man, the car felt more alive than it did when we were at the track. The only difference between the two locations is maybe the elevation is a little lower. Temperature is about the same.
