Will removing the cluster & re-installing same cluster a couple of hours later require VAG?
Just wondering if there's any self-diagnosis routine that the car does which requires the instrument cluster.
I'm planning to remove it for a couple of hours and then put it back into the car.
I do not plan to turn the car on (or even put the key in the ignition) at any point in the operation.
I don't want to be in a place where upon re-installing, I need to VAG it and clear some lights / codes that didn't previously exist.
Sorry for sounding paranoid...but I appreciate the help.
