Will a small tranny leak cause clutch slippage under boost? .............
I had all new bearings put in my tranny a few months ago and I now have a small amout of oil that is leaking and burning on my exhaust.
My tech put it on the rack and we can't tell where it is coming from. We think that a front seal leaking in the transmission could cause the clutch to slip if it got a few drops of oil on it.
Does this make sense and has anyone else experienced this?
TIA

only two thing can happen.....
either your steering pump leak or back engine gasket leak, bearing is on the out side of the tranny housing and does not require open up any seal gasket. have him look at all the hose connect to power steering pump. if not then he may need to remove the tranny to look at the back engine gasket

I had leakage from the input shaft seal in the trans
