Winter tires
I have heard that Nokians are the way to go in winter, but that route will be a bit more expensive for me.
So my question to the forum: are Dunlop Wintersport M3s a good tire? Anyone have specific experience with it, or the Nokian RSi? FYI, I'll be saving approximately $200 by choosing the Dunlops.
TIA
BTW, driving conditions will be either metro-Detroit or metro-Denver area (a move may be imminent, hence the $200 may come in handy)

I have the Dunlop M2 and consider it a great snow tire
Will perform better on dry then the Nokian's will, while the Nokians will be better on snow and especially on ice.
So it depends on how much deep snow and ice you will need to deal with vs how much dry road driving in the winter.

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-25, or any other 'H' or 'V' rated winter tire.
If you search you'll find a ton of info and advice on snow tires. Also check the wheel and tire forum.
