I bought a boars hair brush from Strat last year that works great and is nice and soft...
but I just checked their website and don't see it up there anymore. Maybe it's a seasonal thing for them. Definately worth a call IMHO.

If your car is waxed well, brush the glass with the snow brush, and brush the rest of the car off
with a gloved hand. The snow should slide off the paint. Any snow brush will seriously mar your paint. DON'T DO IT. If you brush the majority off with your hands, the rest will melt soon as you start driving and the interior temp of the car rises.

the "ultimate snow brush" from Stratmosphere has boar's hair bristles, and won't scratch paint. The
bristles generally stay useful when wet, unlike other natural hair fibers.
I used the Strat brush all last winter. It worked well. I brought it inside on nights after I used it, in order to let it dry off, for use the next day.
Its expensive, but I think it was worth it.
