Would dealership void warranty on axles if car is lowered? Boots are torn as well

Mmmm....perhaps the logic is that if the car is lowered, more things will scrape, etc., etc.

that was out of round 3/16" at the tranny. I video taped the wobble and all. "yep we see it wobbling but that should not transfer to irregular tire wear" - this after my 3rd set of tires at 30K mi.

Ended up getting reimbursed for the axle part and time to install but no refund for the wheel bearing, installation of bearing(wanted to eliminate it as a possible cause as well), and the tires that feathered badly on the side with the bent axle. Car was delivered this way - no other damage whasoever, car is perfect otherwise.

I will say that my dealer has worked on many things with a few aftermarket suspensions I've had on there - never a complaint from them on this... just no way for AoA to permit servicing on a suspect part. The axle would have had to fail to qualify for work/replace.

You may have better luck, but if it makes it past the Service Manager expect an OTS/FOM visit to take a looksie. Good luck.
