Default Wow Acura Navi dvd's are expensive....

Just picked up a 04 MDX Touring w/ Navi for my wife and was reading up on the navigation disc and the updated DVD is like $180...That seems steep to me but maybe I"m just cheap . You would think they would include free DVD upgrades with factory warranty but I guess its alot of work to compile all the locations. Anyways, so far its great...love the color...speant most of the day detailing it probably will continue tomorrow. The car is in great shape and we are enjoying it...highly recommend the vehicle. Its amazine how much room they have when they look so small from the outside.

We looked at the Touareg/ML500/RX330 and the mdx suited our needs better. Although I would have liked to add another german vehicle to the garage .

Here is a picture below!

Default I read somewhere they were free if you had a DVD burner :)...

Just kidding of course!

Having Navi in the MDX is making me want in in my S4! But I'd be affraid I'd get into a wreck with the 6sp and all....

Does the RNS-E have voice activation...don't remember reading that it did?

Default Yea thats smart only the Acura DVD is one 6.5gb disc...

so unless I buy a new dvd burner (Dual Layer) i'm out of luck even making a backup in case something goes wrong.

Default I just got my wife one too, that NAV system is badass

We checked all those SUVs too plus the Aviator, the MDX was the best for room and third row seating.

I am amazed at the electroncs. The voice activation works pretty damn good, plus the bluetooth integration rocks.

Pioneer Nav has (2) DVDs (West coast + East coast) each ~6.5Gb, DL is required
