What on Earth are you talking about? #1 and #6 are basically illegal and why would you want #7?

Default actually, 6 isn't illegal... look at all the factory-tinted SUVs out there

but they could only tint the rear windows that dark. States can't override DOT-approved glass, which is why, for example, in Massachusetts, aftermarket tint < 50% is illegal, but factory tint can be much darker if it's DOT-approved. Stupid, yes, I know.

Default Yeah that's why I said basically. I assumed he was talking about the whole car.

My old grand cherokee had really dark glass in the rear, probably equal to 30% or 35% tint.

I didn't know that about the DOT vs. state. I've never seen any really dark front windows that are DOT approved though have you?

And while your at it, add a big spoiler, 5" exhaust tips and neon. I like the boost gauge idea.

Default right; I think dark FRONT windows can't be DOT approved; rear can

but I think federal law basically says that DOT-approved glass can't be banned by a state, but the states do what they can to hassle you, so you can't tint existing glass to the same darkness. It's stupid, of course.
