ok, why do not we try to put this into perspective? What was wrong with the original car the way it came, and what got screwed up later on? I certainly am not a fan of any of the engine rubber contents, and I assume your shocks are toast. The squeaking is the door gaskets, apply silicone based oil lightly, and everything is fine. Heater core for sure sucks, but do not make the car any worse than it is. I have had my previous Audis for 80.000 to 120.000 miles and never had issues - that only came up with AoA and the brilliant service here. I can relate to the car being in the shop - clearly a dealer/AoA issue. I have had my car in the shop for five days for trivial things. Is that a design flaw of the car? No - it is pure incapability of AoA and the dealer.

My car actually felt good in the 30°F weather in CT yesterday...
It's been creaking and groaning and making all kinds of horrible noises in the single digits and teens we've had for a while.

Damnit! Lost my power steering as I pulled into work this morning!
It makes a hideous noise when I turned the wheel to get through the parking garage. Going to take the car in at lunch.

...and how much equity do you have in your S4? And for how long will you be making no car payment?
I've got $10,000 in equity in my S4 right now, and if I stuck to $758/mo. payments, I'd probably have a period of 2-3 years with NO car payment.

Re: The squeaking and creaking is a lot more than the rubber door gaskets.
Lance, have you actually figured out what the squeaking is? Mine sounded horrible, and it was just the stupid door gaskets.
