Default juddering when parallel parking backwards uphill

I was in Seattle the other day (2013 s6), and I had to parallel park on a downslope. What was weird was when i tried to backup uphill and turn into the spot, the car didn't really move much. When I hit the gas it moved, but shook and juddered as if it was doing so only under duress. I decided not to force it and looped around the block for a spot i could drive straight into. It backs up ok straight, and turns ok going forward, but i haven't done a ton of other troubleshooting (it is at the dealer now for them to check it out, they said they can reproduce it, but they also aren't sure if it's normal). Now i know these cars have the DSG and a center diff that probably makes things not so refined, but this doesn't feel normal to me. i.e. my gtr has a very unrefined DSG and a super grabby center diff, and it has no problem with this scenario.

Anyone else run into this? I figure this group if anyone would know if this was a common or expected behavior...

Most vehicles with mechanical differentials will exhibit this behavior at or near full steering lock. It's "normal" if not that pleasant to experience. The fix is to avoid full steering lock at low speeds as much as possible.
