Default Thoughts on 2014 S6 Suspension mods

I just got a very low milage 2014 S6, on the heals of having a BMW 545i, with SMG transmission. So far, the Audi is a more refined car in many ways, but I'd like to notch up the performance. Considering a few mods: EPL Stage 1 ECU/TCU and would love input on suspension mods that will maintain a very nice ride, but keep the car from feeling like there is more power (let alone stock) than the suspension can feel solid with. I'd like a look of being 1" lower, but not sure what my options are for doing this. (I'm a first time Audi owner). Would love to get input from others who have lowered/mod'd S6 (C7) suspensions.

Do some searching in the S6 forum, there's a lot of threads on the subject of suspension mods. I came from an S4 and found a fair amount of body roll with the S6. I ended up going with the Eurocode sway bars, end links and the Alu Kreuz. The handling characteristics of the S6 have been changed completely - body roll and chassis flex are gone, steering is much sharper, everything just feels much more tighter and planted, and there is no added harshness to the ride. I would recommend these to anyone that is considering a handling upgrade. This is a (relatively) low cost, bolt-on replacement of OEM pieces – with a huge payback in handling capabilities.

Thanks for the great info. Eurocode looks like a good site for a lot of mod components. One last question: What is the best way to lower the car about an 1"? I have other cars that I upgraded sway bars on (and associated components) that made a HUGE difference, but would be nice to drop the car a little.... or is that a bad idea?

On the Audi S6/7 one can drop the suspension by 10-17mm with the VAGCOM (VCDS):

Also this VCDS link

There is the Cete module, that plugs in.

The HR module
