My wife's A7 has LED's and it is worth it.
Her S7 is due in a couple of weeks and we ordered the LED's again.

As I age, I think the extra light is definitely worth the $1400 price. I also moved down to Delray Beach FL in 2010 from Westchester County NY, which has a denser population and consequently the ambient roadside lighting is better than here. I've been using xenon lights since 2001, and wouldn't use anything else, but LED's have to be an upgrade from them. Plus they're way cool. You're already investing in a 21st century "rolling" technology center - why draw the line at lighting?

100% agree. Used my first xenons in 1998 in my E39 M5 and have never turned back. Paying for the full LEDs is the next natural step to stay ahead of the technology curve. Oh, yes, it is cool looking even when the LEDs are not lit.

Have a 1 month old A7 with LEDs. am a headlight fanatic, so definitely wanted the option. Finding that they are not any brighter than the xenons, but can't discount the looks and cool factor. Worth it.
