Default 2 Questions About My New SQ5...

1. Does anyone feel a slight mechanical adjustment/moving/grinding in their gas pedal about a minute after beginning your drive? It almost feels as if there's a servo of some sort connected to the pedal assembly that is activated...not really disconcerting, but I've never felt it in any other car I've ever owned. Anyone else experience this????

2. Even though I have Google Maps selected in both my nav screens, I've never seen a Google Maps view...only the standard navigation graphics. When I took delivery last week, my salesman set up Audi Connect in my car, and I confirmed via email, but is there anything additionally that I have to do?? Is Google Maps even associated with Audi Connect, or does it work independently through the car?

Thanks very much everyone....500 miles and counting, and I love this thing more and more with every mile I drive

For #2 - try this - https://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-...round-2929987/
It solved the same problem for me on my 2018 Q5.

#1 that's normal, I don't know exactly what it is, I've read it's the ABS performing a system check. I didn't see anything in the manual about it.

Have you experienced this as well???
I would actually feel better if I knew it wasn't an issue with my car exclusively!

It happens EVERY time I drive it...

Pretty sure this has been everyone's experience. Happens around 25-28mph.

Yes on every '18 SQ5 I've driven, which is 2. It's not an issue and is normal based on my experience just like the noise when you open the drivers side door (of you have the air suspension). I had 5k miles on my other SQ5 and the noise was never bad. I wouldn't worry about it unless someone has evidence to say otherwise.

OK cool...it's normal then, thanks everyone. And yes, I do get the quick air suspension noise every time I open the driver's door.

Side note, I used Cadx6's link, and my Google Earth is working....it's actually amazing

#1. Yes, it's ABS. Many, many vehicles do this, some more evident than others. Perfectly normal.
