Why won't fuel tank take fuel at normal rate?

Why won't fuel tank take fuel at normal rate?

During the last few weeks, fueling the car has become increasingly difficult--it keeps acting like the tank is full when it's not. Filling up, at any station, and I'm forced to dribble in the fuel until I guess it's full. Any ideas?

are you sure its not the pump, do you always go to the same station?

this happens to me every so often too....never figured it out

Generally, that will be the pump. Try pumping with the nozzle in half as far as you'd normally do.

You don't HAVE to be '*****' deep. ;-)

Different stations, nozzle in varying positions--all the same. Wierd.
