LED bulb problem (long)
I bought LED bulbs from Tantrumwerks for my city lights. I have a 2002 A4 with Ecode Xenon lights. My car came with halogen lights and I bought the ecode housings/lights through a GB. It was a plug and play installation and works fine. I put in the LED city light bulbs and they blink on and off. Seems like I saw something about this problem here on AW, but I can't find it now. Tantrumwerks doesn't know what the problem is and has offered a refund, but I'd like to make the bulbs work, any help out there?

Yep,
Its due to the CAN bus wiring in the B6. The Auto Check system uses this method to identify a failed bulb. You will probably notice if you switch the ignition to stage 1 that you get a warning of city light / side light failure. No way around it I'm afraid apart from experimenting with putting a resistor in to increase current draw. This of course lowers the light output of the LED too.
