Clutch/Transmission Noise.
Anybody hear have any strange noises form their clutch/Transmission. I have a dieselgeek Short Shifter installed but I don't think that has anything to do with it.
The problem: When the car is in neutral (idling) or accelerating slowly in 1st gear the car sounds very rough. Kinda like a diesel but not as loud.
When the clutch pedal is pushed to the floor the sound kinda goes away. Took it to the dealer and they said they will have to open the transmission.
Any thoughts? Should I replace the stick shifter before it goes for service, just in case?
