Question about brake upgrade before I pull the trigger...
I have my eyes on some B5 S4 brakes (calipers), but they have about 80k miles of usage. Should I be concerned? I know people have said that they are a "direct bolt-on," but does that mean everything is already in place (i.e. existing factory parts)?
I've also been told by some B5'ers that HP2's suck compared to the B6 S4...is this true? The B6 S4 brakes are $$ compared to the B5 S4.
Also, I know of some S6 brakes for sale. Are these the same as the B5 S4 and A6 2.7T -- HP2 calipers?
I'm going nuts with all the choices out there!
