Correct me if I'm wrong, but the U.S. market is a bit more lucrative than NZ's for Audi...the WHY...
did we get a crappy display at the Chicago Auto Show with the "all new" A6 (which has been roaming streets for few months already) and a subdued with hardly any acknowledgement???

It's absolute junk that the car is shown in Australia before...Surprising rant...
here in the USA. As soon as cars are readied for USA release at the SAME TIME as Germany you will then know they have figured out what is important. Important doesn't *always* mean money either. Some things are worth it for the symbolism.
If I was 2nd or 3rd in the market as compared to BMW, etc. I would be searching for an edge. I would then plan that strategy and execute until my competition was ill. Staying to that plan like a dog on a mission. Relentless. Scare somebody.
We are not dumb. We see these cars as they are in Europe with potentially 1 year of advance release before here. You can make all the excuses you want, but they only exist because the boat is still set for the wrong heading.
At the very least release an RS car here at the same time as Germany and get the respect of the enthusiasts who are MAKING the brand here and spreading the word.
I think that's my first official rant up in since the start.
I like the RS 4, I REALLY like the RS 4. Forget about what I do for a living. I want it as shown in EU trim or as close as can be. I want it now. No more excuses. Spend the money, make the tough decisions, take the hard road. Get it done. -Pete
