Two Noob Questions

Hey guys I am so new to Audi's and Turbos and all that stuff you have to bare with me. I was curious to know if I purchased that new product that just came out " Atmosheric Blow Off valve for VAG 2.0 FSi Turbo Engines " what are the pros and cons of that? How easy would the install be?

Also, on my car is there any way to make the MPG gauge count down by one instead of five?

Are you putting that blow-off valve on for the sake of making that OBNOXIOUS noise? There are no performance gains to be had with such a modificiaton.

First answer: The 2.0T FSI isn't really made to vent boost into the atmosphere, doing so will cause the engine to run rich. The one you see for the 2.0T FSI supposively has a very small change to the entire system but doesn't throw any fault codes. No performance gains other than the sound that people wants. It does not replace the existing diverter valve. To each their own with BOVs on Audi engines but I shake my head whenever I hear one on an AUdi. Now, if it was on a UrQ or an STI that's a different thing entirely!
