Bose speaker sdealer only?
Need both door speakers for the '01.5 Bose system. Can't find them at AutohausAZ or SJM. Anybody know a good source other than a dealer? I don't want used.

Just buy some aftermarket speakers...5&1/4" components fit without much modification and sound MUCH Much Better

OK follow up on the Bose speaker thing. I don't want to mess with aftermarket - Bose is fine for me.
According the the link above - 149333 is the lower door driver. According to the dealer and Bose those won't work for later cars - I guess there is a built in mike - and Patti at Bose said they are not interchangeable. Anybody have a PN from a '01.5 - '02 S4 - 4.5" driver (lower door).

I went ahead and ordered the P/N (149333) per the QW linky above - they (2) just showed up to my door for $88 shipped (dealer quoted $331/speaker!!!!!!) Now I need to install 'em - hopefully they will work!

I called Patti at the exact number listed in the QW link - which is not an 800 number. If you called an 800 number - maybe that is why no call back? It took her a day or two to call me back - I'd just call her back - I'm sure she is very busy and I'm guessing us guys buying a speaker or two aren't her priority in life - which is fine - I understand.
