Returning My A7 (Buying Porsche Macan)

My A7 lease ends this month and I have decided to return it and purchase a Porsche Macan.

This was a very difficult decision because the A7 was the best car I have ever owned / leased - and this includes several BMWs and Mercedes over the years. The A7 was a wonderful blend of sexy great looks, supercharged performance, leading technology, and real world practicality. I seriously decided on purchasing it at lease end, however, sometimes you need a change for no other reason that to experience something new. I am looking forward to getting my Porsche Macan S, and hopefully I will love it as much as I loved my Audi A7.

I want to thank the many participants on this forum for their help and insight over the last 3 years - and for the fun and good humor. I will be anxious to see the next generation A7 and how this car evolves.

Congrats. That is supposed to be a really neat vehicle. I'd love to drive one sometime.

Thanks. I have been spending a lot of time on the Macan Forum while I wait for my car to be delivered. It reminds me a lot of the AudiWorld forum when the A7 was new and everyone was excited about it. The A7 forum hasn't had a lot of activity for a long time.
