low pressure fuel pump prime function
I've search this forum, and multiple other venues and am unable to definitively find out:
Does this platform use the low pressure in-tank pump to prime the fuel system by either driver door open, or turn key to on, or both?
Currently this car does neither, and suffers from a 3 - 5 second cranking time before starting. The in-tank pump functions well, and tests well and shows good pressure when the engine is running using VCDS,
This is a 2006 B7, 3.2 FSI
Edit: should note that this car never had this long crank starting issue before, and if re-starting within an hour it starts up instantly.
