repeated control arm failure
I replaced just the one arm and it cured the moise and some of the handling problems I've had, but I still get a lot of feedback in the steering wheel over rough roads.
I'm thinking that another arm could be going bad, but these arms all have less than 20k miles on them. the car feels very un-german on all but the smoothest of roads.
are there other suspension problems that could cause premature failure? or maybe an install problem? I'm afraid if I replace another one they'll all start failing on me.
I'm desperate to get my smooth german sports sedan back. right now I hate driving it.
Also, how many miles are on your shocks? Could just be worn shocks causing the car to ride uncomfortably.
the shocks aren't old enough to cause a ride problem.
there's seems to be less feedback in the steering wheel, but I think I'm still feeling too much over small bumps. is there something I can inspect visually on the rubber bushings?
