Default Anyone have any suggestions for stripping paint off wheels other than paint stripper?

I've been trying to strip the paint off a set of BBS's but even the airplane stripper doesn't get it all off. Its taking a bit of elbow grease to get it down to the metal. If you're wondering, I bought them used a few years ago and the previous owner had them resprayed. Poor job, lots of orange peel. Then of course I added some really nice curb rash.

Default Can you give me more info on that?

I've read a bit about bead and media blasting but I'm not sure where I can go to get it done other than buying my own unit. The cabinets I've seen are a bit more than I wanted to spend. I think Metro wheels charges at least $150 a wheel to strip and repaint them.

Default Please do.

Do you have any experience doing timing belt jobs on a transverse VW 4-banger?
