Atlanta VAG-Com help
#2
Do you know what needs to be done on the VAG-COM, as far as entries and such?
And where are you? There are a bunch of us around with VAG-COMs, in various places around town. I'm in Dunwoody.

You need to zero out your steering angle sensor so it is straight when you steer the car straight. You need to read the MVB for the steering angle and zero it out with the steering wheel off. Did you remove the steering wheel when you replaced the rack ? Its not a hard procedure, you just need to know how to do it. I could do it at my shop in Loganville.

Im not sure what you mean by MVB and I didn't remove the steering wheel. I didnt think I needed to from these instructions https://www.audiworld.com/tech/misc-40.shtml. The steering wheel isnt too far off as it is though.

If the steering wheel was not removed and your car is pulling to one side, you need an alignment
If you go to a dealership, their procedure should also include 'zeroing' the steering angle.
Nalley offers alignments for $99 to ACNA members (and customers who get their mailings).
