Yes there is an emissions test
But on all later model years it is now done via OBD-II rather than the tailpipe sniff test.
You'll need to reinstall cats and drive for a while to clear the codes before getting tested.

That depends on your specific setup
If your pipes aren't welded then it shouldn't be a big deal. The other alternative is to find a "friendly" emissions tester who can help you out. (Shh, I didn't really say that.)

I sure hope it doesn't rain. I don't have enough tread left on the street tires to do a track day, and I sure don't want to go driving through standing water on my track tires!

there is no emissions testing in Bartow County....
i live in Marietta, but when I 1st moved to GA, i lived in Cartersville and got it registered there. 3 years, still have had emissions.

nope, had to bump it to the next run in August
I'm in the midst of getting the FMIC on the car among a few other things and want to be certain everything is 100% before flogging it on the track. Got some other news for you but I'll need to email you about it.
