sound from my koni's
I've got a set Koni Yellows on my S4, probably about 15K miles on them so far. I've just started noticing a sound...its really quiet and you can only hear it when the radio is off. When I approach ramps for driveways, parking ramps, etc as the weight from the front of the car shifts from the height change in the pavement, I feel like I can hear the Koni compress. As I said, its very slight. I guess my question is whether this is normal, or I should not be hearing anything of the sort? Maybe it's been there from day one...
Thanks in advance...

Bernie's a believer in strut mount failure? LOL.
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/44417/failed_a6_upper_rear_shock_mount.jpg"></center><p>Naah, he said look for loose parts...there are only three things that can be loose. The two strut mount bolts or the shock rod nut.
You may be seeing the beginning of upper shock mount failure...but to inspect the mount you have to dismount the strut. When you do, if you do, look for off-center shock rod in top of shock mount hole and/or rub marks on the inside of the shock mount where the shock rod nut hits the shock mount.
The pic shows what happens when the upper shock mount fails.
Mine went at 127K, roughly 20K after I put in new Konis.
