Glow plugs light flashing and check engine light
I have a Audi A4 B8 3.0TDI with about 250 000km on it. On my way home the glow plugs light started flashing continuingly and a massive effect loss in performence (limp mode). I restarted the car and it went like usual until maybe 5 minutes later the same thing happened. After awhile the check engine light came on, after another restart it was only the check engine light being displayed but soon after that the glowplugs light also started flashing. My car has a 3" downpipe aswell as a straight piped system, so it can't be the DPF, of course it's recoded (not tuned in performence, skipped that for reliability). I have yet to find a code scanner but will probably leave this to audi hoping it won't be as expensive, does anyone know what the issue can be?
